Tomek Rygalik

Designer, lecturer, curator, Tomek Rygalik was born in 1976 in Lodz, Poland. He studied Architecture and Town Planning at the Politechnika Lodzka and Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute in New York (BA/Hons).

After a few years working for design companies in the US, he undertook studies at the Royal College of Art in London (MA), where after gaining a diploma, he became a research worker. 

He cooperates, among others, with Moroso, NOTI, Profim, Ideal Standard, Siemens, Heineken and Ikea and currently runs a design workroom at the Department of Industrial Design of the Arts Academy and Studio Rygalik in Warsaw.  His designs have been presented at numerous exhibitions in Berlin, London, Milan, Munich, Tokyo and Valence.

For NOTI he designed Termo collection, outdoor or upholstered TULLI armchairs awarded with Red Dot Design Award 2016, Mamu chairs and acoustic furniture System – SoundRoom.
