A New Beginning........

It's a new beginning for Products for People.  In a post-Covid landscape (fingers crossed we've seen the last of it) and with new owners at the helm, P4 looks towards 2022 with a sense of excitement and a tinge of sadness.

After more than 30 years in the industry, with almost 20 of them spent as Managing Director of the company, Stewart Brown has decided to take a well-earned retirement.

An industry stalwart, Stewart took over a young, struggling company back in 2002 that many of you will remember as Chairbiz.com. A truly innovative seating supplier, Chairbiz.com completely embraced the dot-com era, using the power of the internet to showcase its product range. With the catch cry 'online. on time', the company had what many still believe was the industry's best website and was the preferred choice for many leading interior designers and specifiers nationally. Breathing life and energy into the business, Stewart assembled a new team to lead Chairbiz.com into the future, launching an inspiring product range sourced mostly from Italy.

Fast-forward to 2016, after many years of discussion and deliberation, Chairbiz.com rebranded to become Products for People, or P4 to our friends.  This was an inevitable page in the company's history, realigning its branding and market position to better reflect the carefully curated products from the brands it represented. Almost 6 years on and Stewart couldn't be more proud of what P4 has become. 

Earlier this year, Stewart began transitioning into retirement and plans were made with Simon Duerden and Marika Redmond to take the business over on 1 May. The pair have both been with the company for almost 18 years and remain focused on continuing to support the industry with a design-led product range.  Sourced mostly from Europe, with a strong emphasis on local Australian manufacturing and production, P4 will continue working with some of the world's leading furniture brands.
