Designing Nature with True

Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024 saw True focus on the material of timber as the balance point between product design and the natural environment that surrounds us. The bustling bistro setting encouraged visitors to relax and interact freely with the furniture pieces, keeping food, Prosecco, and conversations flowing. Take a look at some of their exciting new releases below...

Essence

Designed by Copenhagen-based studio Norm Architects, Essence is a tribute to the use of timber and its implementation in pure, iconic forms, which are complemented and consistent with each other. At first glance this collection appears linear and simple, but a closer look would highlight the beauty in the interlocking joinery detail which becomes the iconic element of the entire family – featured throughout the tables, benches, stools, bookcases and sideboards.

Lisa

Lisa was one of True’s new launches at Salone 2023. This year from the Lisa seat emerges three new models including a new lounge version with more generous and enveloping lines that, in addition to armrests, also includes the possibility of having an upholstered seat cushion. Lisa's signature style continues with the distinct curvature of its wooden backrest, as well as the linear but thinner structure of the legs.

Flap Kitchen

An essential in True’s bistro set up, the mini kitchen was designed for shared spaces or contemporary workspaces. Compact in its two meters of length, Flap Kitchen is inspired by work tables and benches; a small independent island characterised by a soft and embracing design.
