This year’s fair reaffirmed its status as the world’s leading event for contemporary design.

At the heart of this year’s edition was the theme Thought for Humans – a call to consider how design enhances the human experience. This guiding idea permeated the halls of Fiera Milano, from the choice of materials and forms to the thoughtful spatial arrangements and sensory interactions on display.

As artist Bill Durgin captured in the official campaign:

“Great design brings joy to our daily interactions — to moving through spaces, making breakfast, working or sitting around a table with family… Design is rooted in the human anatomy and feeds on the continuous interaction with it.”

The exhibitors at this year’s Fair well and truly delivered on the brief we saw some incredible designs that we look forward to sharing in the coming weeks.

We were especially excited to see a number of our longstanding partners present at this year’s event, each demonstrating their commitment to design that places people at the centre:

Seeing such a strong showing from brands that continue to inspire us was a thrill.

With so many outstanding contributions from across the globe, Salone del Mobile once again proved to be a vital platform for meaningful design. This year’s focus on human-centred design was a natural alignment with P4’s values, and we look forward to bringing the latest trends and products from Milan back to you here in Australia.

Stay tuned for more. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more highlights from our partners and take a closer look at designs soon to be available exclusively through P4.
