Simon Pengelly

A design prodigy working as a cabinet-maker for his father when we was just 8, Simon Pengelly was winning design awards for his workmanship by age 15.  Specializing in furniture and product design, Pengelly Design was founded in London by Simon Pengelly in 1993.

His studio demonstrates a practical and clever design process with an evident fondness for design solutions that consider function, appropriate material and production processes.

Pengelly's products, such as the Atom Range for Boss Design, are distinctive in their combination of flowing forms, understated elegance and timeless appeal mixed with a wonderfully modular practicality.
