Honken | Large

Blå Station

Inspired by the high-performance sport of Ice Hockey, designers Stefan Borselius & Thomas Bernstrand conceived Honken.

A generously spacious, modern and distinctive armchair made of durable steel and expanded metal with Solid Oak legs. The frame and mesh basket is hand welded and comprised of 30mm tubing around the edge, a steel bottom plate and a basket of expanded metal making it extremely rigid and impact resistant. The design of Honken, in conjunction with its sturdy and durable materials, demonstrate an evident notion of longevity. Designed for Blå Station's Experiment 2015 project – where the aim was to create "classics of the future" – the collection is made to be durable.

Available in various versions including with a high or low back cushion or even without a back cushion:

Honken O141 | Upholstered Seat Cushion only

Honken O142 | Upholstered Seat Cushion and Low-Backrest Cushion

Honken O143 | Upholstered Seat Cushion and High-Backrest Cushion

All cushions are filled with polyester foam and down and can be upholstered in fabric or leather with removable covers.

Project Price Guide is for model 0141.

Also available with the Honken is the Workstation accessories which enhances this spacious armchair to become a place of work and/or relaxation. It's also available with the Honken Ottoman for those who wish to kick their heels up. With additional elements of the Workstation, such as the D452 Table, or also the addition of Power & Data outlets the Honken can bring together everything you need to get your work done successfully.

The Honken Workstation is ideal for schools, universities, libraries, offices, hotels and workplaces of all kinds. Specify it wherever productivity is required!
