A workplace with a view like no other, this temporary office fit-out occupies the 18th floor of Barcelona’s iconic Mapfre Tower — a soaring presence on the city’s coastline and a gateway between urban life and the open sea.
Designed by Emiliana Design Studio, the project makes the most of its elevated setting, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views across the city and Mediterranean. The interior responds in kind, with a light-filled, open layout that balances professionalism with ease — a hybrid space equally suited to formal meetings, creative exchanges, or quiet moments of reflection above the bustle.
To support this balance, a curated selection of Vergés furniture was chosen for its sense of tactility, comfort, and understated elegance. Each piece contributes to the inviting atmosphere — softening the architectural volumes and enhancing the fluidity between zones.
From agile meeting areas to more informal breakouts, the collection brings cohesion and warmth to the workplace. Timber frames, refined profiles and textural finishes reflect Vergés’ hallmark craftsmanship, while providing the flexibility required for a dynamic, transitional space.
This thoughtful interplay between architecture, landscape and furniture design transforms a temporary office into a place of clarity, calm, and connection — an elevated workspace in every sense.
