RUTAN is a stool, a seat with a backrest, and a corner module that shares the same upholstered modules as its sister RUT, but with slender steel legs, making it more spontaneous and mobile. It meets an important need for flexibility, allowing interiors to adapt as needs change.

The updated RUTAN consists of a single leg that can be specified in different colours, with or without castors, and in a version where the leg extends into a tabletop. Standalone modules can be built and connected with magnets to form sofas, corner sofas, or benches, or assembled more permanently with shared leg sets, and later divided back into armchairs if needed.

Despite its strict form, RUTAN is remarkably comfortable, featuring nozag springs, moulded polyurethane, and customizable textile, leather, and steel finishes, allowing either a monochrome look or contrasting colours.
