Designed by Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, the Ahkka lounge armchair is shaped by a soft, essential design language of gentle curves, rounded edges and an enveloping silhouette. Its name is inspired by Ahkka, the tenth-highest peak in Sweden, a northern landscape sculpted over millennia by Ice Age glaciers.

Created for contemporary interiors, Ahkka combines sculptural presence with ergonomic comfort, making it ideal for lounge areas, reception spaces, hospitality settings and modern offices. Its continuous outer surfaces form a harmonious volume that brings elegance and distinction to professional and contract environments.

The collection includes a high-back wingback armchair, a standard-back version and a matching footstool. The wingback model offers added privacy and protection, ideal for open-plan spaces, quiet moments or informal conversations. A concealed adaptive mechanism follows the body’s natural movement, while cold-moulded flexible polyurethane padding, rigid internal inserts and a four-spoke aluminium swivel base ensure comfort, stability and durability.
