P4 supplied BOB by Blå Station for this exceptional Melbourne workplace project.

The workplace creates a striking, contemporary environment designed around the business’s day-to-day needs. Open collaborative areas are balanced with spaces for focused work, giving employees flexibility to move between different ways of working throughout the day.

The reception establishes a bold and considered arrival. Exposed black services, dark tiling and low lighting form a distinctly architectural backdrop, with Blå Station’s BOB modular sofa system anchoring the centre of the space. BOB’s curved configuration responds to the circular rug beneath it, which features Aboriginal artwork and adds another layer of character and connection to place.

Against the fitout’s darker, industrial palette, BOB’s leather upholstery introduces warmth, texture and softness. Its sculptural form complements the strong architectural language of the interior while creating an inviting place to sit. The result is a reception that feels both distinctive and welcoming for visitors and staff.
