Christoph Jenni
Christoph Jenni was born in 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as a son of Swiss immigrants. After moving to Switzerland, he studied industrial design at FHNW in Aarau. Until 2010, he was a furniture designer at Studio Hannes Wettstein in Zürich, before opening his own studio in Bern.
He has lectured at Furniture Design at HSLU in Lucerne Switzerland since 2016.
Christoph describes his work as a synthesis of his Brazilian heritage and Swiss education, combined with the meticulousness of the experience he had while working for Hannes Wettstein.
His work with leading Italian furniture manufacturer Maxdesign allows him the freedom to create some inevitable modern classics. Products like Appia, Betty, Baba and the stunning new Max collection are loved all over the world.
