Zakaria Khalfaoui

Zakaria Khalfaoui is an Italian-Moroccan designer, born in 1986 in El Jadida, Morocco.

After gaining a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Environmental Design from the University of Camerino in Italy and an exchange period at the École de Design Nantes Atlantique in France, he obtained a master’s degree in Design. Comfortable designing and developing a wide range of products, Khalfaoui has lent his skills to companies such as Sitland, Huawei, De Dietrich, Indesit, Hotpoint, ONKYO, design firms such as BETC Design.

He now lives and works for his multidisciplinary design studio in both Italy and France, collaborating with several international brands to develop projects in industrial design, furniture, lighting, service design, and creative direction - all with a focus on circular design and sustainable development.

Since 2013, he has worked at the École de Design Nantes Atlantique as a lecturer in the Master’s programme.
