Binario F from Facebook

  • Location Rome, Italy
  • Project Type Workplace
  • Project Size 800 sqm

Binario F is a physical space created by Facebook in the heart of Rome, dedicated to the training and development of digital skills of people, businesses, associations and institutions.

It’s a flexible environment of 800 square metres spread over two floors with training rooms, workstations, networking and relaxation areas, plus a space for outdoor activities. To date, it’s the most important investment Facebook has made in Italy, a project that meets the desire to train and develop the digital skills of 97,000 people by the end of 2019.

The school for digital skills is the first step in the path taken by the social network in Italy, among the countries with the highest percentage of subscribers to groups on Facebook (27 million users to be precise). For this reason, it is no coincidence that Rome was the birthplace for the project, which in addition to taking stock of the development of digital skills, aims to focus on the importance and central role of communities, both virtual and real.
